The Central Jakarta City Administration is taking integrated action to ensure that the basic needs of fire survivors on Jalan Batu Ceper 9 RW 01, Kebon Kelapa, Gambir are met during the emergency response period.

Head of Kebon Kelapa Urban Village, Muhammad Bellie Oktatarian explained since yesterday afternoon, four evacuation centers have been set up, and 880 boxes of ready-to-eat meals have been distributed to fire survivors.

In addition, personnel from the Sub-agency for Population and Civil Registration and the Education Sub-agency, along with a medical team from the district community health center, were deployed to assist fire survivors from four neighborhood units (RT).
"An integrated service post is now operational to assist residents in processing various civil registration documents and educational certificates that were destroyed by the fire, as well as to provide health check-up services," he said, Tuesday (9/1).
He added that aid from residents of the neighborhood association (RW) surrounding the site has also started arriving to help ease the burden on the fire survivors.
According to him, the emergency response period for handling the fire will last for the next three days. However, it may be extended depending on whether the situation is deemed safe.
"Officials are currently still gathering data to verify the number of survivors, given that some of the burned houses were used as boarding houses," he added.
As for information, a fire destroyed 114 houses on Jalan Batu Ceper 9 on Monday afternoon (8/31). A total of 880 residents, comprising 310 households from four neighborhood units (RT 04, 05, 07, and 09), lost their homes.
